For Noah's 9th birthday, he was so happy to get to celebrate it with his friends at school with cupcakes and treats the day before and then on Saturday, we took him and the little ones to the children's museum in San Antonio, the Doseum.  We had heard from friends that it's a really cool place for  kids so we had been wanting to take them. The night before we went, we showed Noah a video on the museum's website and he couldn't wait to go check out the robotics lab and water filtration area.  And so Saturday morning--we loaded the kids up and headed that way.  When we arrived, it was already pretty crowded-- the place was bustling with families.  It's a huge place and there are all sorts of cool, hands-on activities for the kids to do both indoors and outdoors.

Here are some of the fun things the kids enjoyed doing while we were at the Doseum...

After spending a few hours at the children's museum, we left to grab a bite to eat and then headed back home to continue Noah's birthday celebration with cake and opening his gifts.

Gavin and Taylor LOVED helping Noah celebrate his birthday… :-)

He loved opening his presents from his grandparents, his cousins, his brother and sister and mom and dad.

We had such a fun day celebrating little man's 9th birthday.  Special memories were made.

It's hard to believe he's 9 years old…it just seems like yesterday we were holding him in our arms after we returned home from the hospital. Our hearts were so full of gratitude and love at this moment for not only our son, but his sweet birthmother who made the tremendous sacrifice to bring him into this world and chose us to be his parents.

Oh how we love you Noah Riley!! Someday when you're older and reading this little blog book of mine about our family memories--I want you to know this…. You, my dear son, fill all of our lives with SO MUCH joy, laughter and love --and have since the day you were born.  You have such a big heart and love to entertain and make others laugh.  You brighten everyone's day when you smile with those beautiful blue eyes of yours!  You never meet a stranger and have more energy than anyone I've ever known.  I know the Lord has a very special plan for you and your life.  You have been blessed with some very special and unique talents that will bless you and carry you through this earthly life.  May you always have a desire to stay close to the Savior and seek to live your life in accordance with His teachings.  I know in my heart and from experience that if you do this, it will lead you to greater happiness and joy in this life.  I thank Heavenly Father every single day for blessing me to be your mama.
