BBQ and other random camping pics

[little Gavin was not happy about having to pose for this pic….]

A trip to the Hill Country would not be complete if we didn't drive to Driftwood
and eat at our favorite BBQ joint... the Salt Lick.

While we were waiting for our order to arrive…
I walked around while the hubby was sitting with the kiddos
and snapped a few pics.

The BBQ (as always) was mouth-water'in good…
definitely worth the 1-hour drive from Boerne to Driftwood.

On the drive back to the RV…we passed so many beautiful deer.
The kids would get so excited every time we'd see them and yell out,

The drive home was beautiful….

Taylor loves the windows down and feeling the wind
blow through her hair while we drive around.

We passed this really cool, old-timey General Store…
I made the hubby pull over so I could take this picture.

After we made it back to the RV--the little ones went down for their
afternoon nap and I sat outside with Noah while he played with
his friends that he met who were camping with their parents.

I passed time by taking completely some random pics. :-)

Noah loves hanging out and swimming in the pool at the RV park.

The kids had fun watching a movie in mommy and daddy's bed in the RV after bath time…
they watched Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2.

Another fun summer day while RV camping in the Texas Hill Country…
what a blessing it is for the hubby and I to have this time with the kids.
To get away from our busy life at home for a few days and spend quality time
together.  And, creating special memories that we'll all look back on someday
and cherish.
