Turning 7....part one

(Noah's favorite song)

I'm still trying to catch up on blog posts while I'm stuck at home recovering from my surgery so I thought I'd first start with Noah's birthday that we celebrated over the Labor Day weekend.

For Noah's 7th birthday, we celebrated his special day with family in town. My sweet parents, along with my brother, Brian and his wife, Katherine and our nieces and nephew flew in town to spend the weekend with us. We were so excited to have them here to help us celebrate Little Man's birthday.

Noah was so excited when we picked him up from school and his grandparents were waiting in the car...he had been counting down the days, hours, minutes all week anticipating their arrival--he couldn't wait to show Poppy the teeth that he had lost recently.

On Saturday, we took the kids to Chuck-E-Cheese and they had a blast playing games together and singing and dancing along with Chuck-E while there.  It was so much fun seeing the kids have such a great time together and Noah was beaming from ear to ear the entire time....he loves his cousins so much.

Fun memories were made together with our loved ones this day...
after our fun birthday lunch at Chuck-E-Cheese we headed back to the house for
birthday cake, opening of presents and swimming.  I didn't want to completely overload
this post with all the pics---so I've broken it up into two parts.

I look forward to sharing more photos from Noah's birthday weekend in my next post.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Thursday....

  1. OMGosh, I remember the Chuck-E Cheese days! So cute.

  2. Looks like a fun time. Now I'm craving hot wings!
Happy birthday to Noah and I hope his mama is feeling better each day.
