Cave Without a Name

While we were RV camping in Boerne, we decided to take the kids to see one of the cool, living caverns in the area.  After researching it online, we decided to drive out to the Cave Without a Name---it's about a 15 minute drive just outside of Boerne.

The tour takes about an hour and you get to walk down into the cavern--we decided to brave it and take the babies with us, too.  They did great!  We couldn't take a stroller down there (obviously) so Jody carried Taylor and I carried baby boy.

Noah was like a "kid in a candy store" during the entire tour---he insisted on staying right beside the tour guide most of the tour.  He helped her hold her flashlight and then  asked all sorts of great questions during the tour. I was really proud of him and the inquisitive and thoughtful questions he was coming up with.  It really is amazing to tour these caverns--- and to think that they have been around for thousands of years.

Here are just a few pics from our tour ...

Fun times in the cave this day....
saw some amazing formations and surprisingly--
we didn't feel too tired afterwards.
The walk down is much easier than the walk up...I had to stop a few times
and catch my breath while holding baby boy--
but it really wasn't that challenging.

If you're ever in the Boerne area---and this sort of thing interests you--
I'd highly recommend checking this cave out.

Really impressive...
