Taylor is growing and changing so much...how I wish I could slow down time with her.
But sadly, I can't.

She had her 4 month old check up earlier this week.

She weighed in at 14.7 lbs. and is now 24.8 in. long...
her  doctor visit went really well-- we love our pediatrician.
He's like a sweet grandpa and he always loves to see little Taylor.

She was happy as could be while we were there until that
it was time for the dreaded immunizations.
Bless her heart...she had to get 4 shots and it broke my heart to watch.
I wish there were an easier way to administer these immunizations.  It's just no fun. :-(
Thankfully, she only cried for a few minutes and then she calmed down.

Her spunky and sweet little personality is sure keeping us entertained around here.
She has the sweetest little smile.
Noah loves to gently tickle her and do silly faces to get her to laugh.
It's really cute to watch the two of them together.

These days she is really enjoying playing on her activity mat and at her play center...they are two of her favorite things to do.

She giggles, kicks and likes to tap the hanging toys with her hands.
She loves cuddle time with mommy and daddy and gets a real kick
out of Noah doing silly faces for her. He can get her giggling really hard.
She started eating rice cereal last week...we're still working on how to actually eat it...
it seems to freak her out a little to have food in her mouth.
I'm sure she'll get the hang of it soon though.

Let's see...what else can I share about little Taylor---

she really enjoys her evening baths and she is still such a cuddle bug.
We are blessed that she has been sleeping through the night for some time now.
Usually about 8-10 hours.

My favorite part of the day is first thing in the morning when I hear her in her room
cooing away...when I (or Jody) walk in to pick her up---she gets the biggest, happiest smile on her face
and starts kicking her legs in excitement--it's the sweetest thing.
Every time it makes my heart swell with so much love for her.

And finally, one last update--this next week I'm going to introduce a few solid foods...
that should be fun. :-)

xo,
jennifer
