We had a good week--it went by really fast.  We are so ready for summer around here.  Noah had his show week at the Little Gym for his karate and sports classes. And let's see,  Jody had a pretty busy week with work and church.  But in the midst of all of the craziness of school, gym class, work and church commitments.... we made time in between everyone's busy schedules to hang out together--love on each other-- and have fun as a family....

For show week at the Little Gym, the parents are invited in the class to watch....and participate.  Daddy got to join in on the fun with Noah.  ;-)

We're so proud of our little athlete...he kept saying afterwards, "Look Mommy!  I got a medal!!"  It was really cute to hear the excitement in his voice.

Afterwards we headed over to Rudy's for dinner...

Little Man enjoyed some rainbow ice cream treat afterwards and soon after I took this picture, he passed out in the car on the drive home.

We relaxed and enjoyed some afternoon cartoons this week, which then usually leads to someone wanting to dress up in his super-hero costumes...

Jody and I had a lunch date on Wednesday at City Cafe and afterwards, we stopped in and tried the Italian ice cream shop.  It was our first time and we really liked it.

We sampled a few of course before making our choice...
I landed on the Menta Verde Cioccolato....

And the hubby chose the Italian Butter was really yummy.

And in the evenings, we have been enjoying some backyard time when the sun begins to set and the cool coastal breeze begins to blow feels great outside this time of the day.

Noah loves to be outside in the evenings-- with the sprinklers on...of course. ;-)

Since we bought this cute little older home of ours back in 2009, our backyard has continued to be this beautiful escape for us---a place where we like to gather together as a family in the evenings---laughing, talking, chasing each other, blowing bubbles, taking pictures, feeding the birds, playing in the sprinklers, having picnics and so much  more....I am really grateful for this outdoor space that we have.   Looking forward to using it more over the summer.  ;-)
