The lucky winner is....Kelli... yippee!!! :-)

We did this giveaway the old school way by pulling a name out of the bowl--Noah always has fun helping me put the names in and pull them out when I do it this way.  :-)

Kelli...send me your contact information to virginiatexans (at) gmail (dot) com within the next 24 hours and I'll get your prize mailed out to you.

I think you are going to enjoy reading both of these amazing books--I sure did.  I hope they touch your heart and soul like they did mine.  And renew your love and appreciation for the calling of motherhood in a special way.

In Kelle Hampton's book, Bloom, that is included in this little giveaway--there is a quote that struck a chord in my heart when I read it.  I have it highlighted in my copy of the book.  As my family and friends can attest to---I am the world's worst worrier---and I pretty much hate having to face my fears.  So this piece of advice Kelle shared really hit home for me.  It is from chapter 13 and relates specifically to her thoughts on facing your fears....something she has most definitely had to do in her journey as a mother.

"Part of facing your fears is going there.  You have to go there--to the deepest pain of what you fear.  You have to feel it--to hold the hot potato of hurt and know that even if life takes you to that place, you will get through it.  And knowing that not only allows you to let the fear go but it fuels you with a  passion to make the best out of what you have, to grab the reins and purposefully steer yourself where you want to go."
~Kelle Hampton

I just love that.

I hope you all have a wonderful Friday and an even better weekend....the hubby has convinced me it's time to have a garage sale.  We have decided to host this "lovely" event tomorrow at our house.  Argh!!.....he says we have way too much "junk" in our garage and in our closets that needs to go.  I can't think of anything more exciting that I'd love to do with my Saturday than host a garage sale...  So if you will....please say a little prayer for me that I can get a better attitude about putting together this "lovely" garage sale for tomorrow.  ;-)  Also...if you have any tips on prepping, setting up and pricing for a garage sale that you'd like to share...I would sure love to hear your thoughts and advice.  Feel free to leave me a comment.  :-)

XOXO...

Jennifer
