Last Friday, Noah's class celebrated the culmination of their Polar Express unit with a special party.  They each wore their favorite pajamas and when they arrived at school, their teachers gave them a special ticket to use to enter the Polar Express party room.

It was so precious to see them all enter the Parish Hall....

I tried to get him to wear his robe and slippers, but he wouldn't have it--he said he needed his running shoes for the playground...

After entering the party room, they played the Polar Express movie for the children and while watching, the teachers passed out hot chocolate and donuts.

These kiddos were in heaven...

After they finished the movie watching, hot chocolate and warm donuts....they returned to their classroom where they discovered that someone special had dropped by their classroom while they were gone and left something special for each of them...

He was so happy about his Christmas bell....when I picked him up at the end of the day, he excitedly told me (with the biggest smile) how Santa Claus came to his classroom and them a note and a special Christmas bell.

When we walked into the house, he began searching high and low for more presents from Santa.  He was convinced that Santa had been to his house and had left more presents.  I explained to him that Santa and I had talked on the phone earlier that day, and that he and his elves were still working on some special toys for him.  I then assured him that they would be making a special trip to see him on Christmas Eve.

Oh my goodness, this is such a precious age for our dear son to celebrate Christmas and with all it's magic...I can already tell it's going to be a really special Christmas this year with him. :-)

XO,

Jennifer
