Do you have a fall festival where you live? As a kid, each October my brothers and I would go to this festival.  It is held in the downtown square of my hometown and for a span of four days, there are all sorts of fun events to attend....parades, the carnival, queen's coronation, livestock show, and a barn dance.  It continues to be held each October and I have so many fond childhood memories from my time at this fall festival.

This weekend was the annual fall festival for a local private school in our area.  It's their one big fundraiser for the year and it is a wing-dinger of an event.  It isn't near as big as my hometown's festival, but it is well attended by the community and the kids and their families always have a great time.  We've attended this festival the past two years since moving to the valley and Noah certainly didn't want to miss it this year.  It turned out to be a super hot day, so we were sweat'in like crazy, but we survived and had a whole lot of fun despite the hot temperatures.

Noah had a blast riding the rides and playing games.

Jody had fun at the silent auction bidding on as many items as he could.  :-)

Fall very fun.
Yet another reason why I love this season. :-)

"There is no season when such pleasant and sunny spots may be lighted on, and produce so pleasant an effect on the feelings, as now in October."
- Nathaniel Hawthorne
