{InstaFriday}: cousins having a good 'ole time fishing.

"Not quite the brother, not quite the friend, but sometimes closer than a brother, and always better than friends, they are your kin, and your family, and you stick together. They are your cousins. They will fight for you, sneak out for late night parties with you, they are often your best friends."

Noah and Beck are tight. They love being cousins. Each are about a year and half apart in age....Noah is 4 years old now (will turn 5 next month) and Beck is 3. They have so much fun when they get together and play. It warms my heart to see them enjoy each other's company as much as they do. Despite the miles that separate them, I think (and hope) over the years, they will continue to develop a deep bond with one another as cousins. If so, what a blessing they will be to each other as they grow into adulthood.

While we were in East Texas, Beck came to stay with us for the week. We took the boys out to my in-laws to play and while there, Jody and his Dad took them fishing. Noah had been once before with his Daddy and Pop, but this was Beck's first time to go fishing. They had a blast casting their lines in the water and feeding the catfish.

I had fun capturing these pics with my lovely new iPhone....

Beck was the first to catch a fish...there were lots of squeals and screams when he pulled it out of the water.  ;-)

Noah kept at it...wanting so badly to catch one of his own.

And he finally did...again, more squeals, screams and laughter by the boys when he pulled his fish out of the water.
