The Alhambra Ball.

We had a fancy date last night. The Hubby's law partner is a member of The Alhambra, a fraternal organization of Catholic Men dedicated to assisting handicapped children. We were invited to attend their Annual Ball where a select group of the member's daughters are presented...similar to a Debutante Ball. The hubby's law partner's daughter was one of the beautiful young ladies who was being presented at this year's ball. It was such a treat for us to get all dressed up in our formal dress and attend with our friends.

When we first walked into the ballroom, all the young debutantes were standing with their mothers (and a few grandmothers) greeting all the guests. What a stunning group of young ladies they were!

Pictured above is our friend's daughter, her mother and her grandmother.

Each young lady from the court were presented individually with their escort. I just loved our friend's daughter's dress...wasn't it beautiful and elegant??

The Hubby had fun snapping some pictures with his iPhone during the ball and emailing them to my mother. :-)

  3. Those dresses were gorgeous! Looked like wedding dresses. Your friend's daughter's gown was very elegant with the beautiful floral pattern. What a special night for all involved. You and Jody looked amazing!
