The Osceola Mill...

This past Friday, the hubby and I went with our friends to dine at the Osceola Mill which is located just outside of Lexington, Virginia. Our friends, Karen and Brian as well as Debra and Randy have been telling us about this amazing place they enjoy getting away to and so since we only have a few weeks left here in Virginia, we decided this Friday would be a great time to go and check it out.

The Osceola Mill is a beautiful, quaint historic site nestled in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Not only do they offer fine dining, but also lodging that can be viewed at their website, Osceola Mill. I only wish we had heard about this place sooner so we could have taken advantage of it more often while living here. The restaurant is set in the historic McCormick mill c.1849 and it is most definitely fine dining at its best. The prices are more than reasonable given the amazing cuisine and very friendly service they offer.

Here we are after (completely stuffing ourselves) with Randy, Debra, Karen and Brian. We had so much fun! Thanks guys for inviting us...we had a wonderful time.

I just loved all the antique touches throughout the restaurant...

This photo doesn't do this is HUGE!!!

On our drive home, they took us by this beautiful waterfall nestled at the base of a mountain...just breathtaking. I will definitely miss the majestic beauty of the Shenandoah Valley.
